Terms of service

By using Eris Jobs — this website or the mobile app — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eris Jobs is a place where employers publish vacancies and job seekers find them. We are not an employer, an employment agency or a party to any contract between you and an employer. We do not guarantee that any vacancy is genuine, that any employer will reply, or that any job exists as described.

You need a verified phone number to use the service. Keep control of that number and of the device that receives the code; anything done from your account is treated as done by you.

One person, one account. Do not create accounts for other people or impersonate anybody.

Everything in your CV must be true. Fabricating experience, qualifications or identity is grounds for removal.

Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share, and do not include another person's details without their permission.

Apply to roles you are genuinely interested in. Bulk applications sent to every listing are limited automatically and may cost you access.

Post only real vacancies you are actually hiring for. No pyramid schemes, no "pay a fee to start", no listings that exist to collect CVs or phone numbers.

Applicant data may be used only to consider that person for the vacancy they applied to. Selling it, sharing it, or using it for marketing is a breach of these terms and of the applicants' trust.

Job requirements must be lawful. Requirements that discriminate on grounds that are not a genuine occupational requirement will be removed.

Listings are reviewed before they go live and may be rejected. A rejected listing is refunded.

Some vacancies were collected from public job channels rather than posted by an employer here. They are labelled as sourced and carry the contact details published in the original announcement. Applications for them do not go through Eris Jobs.

We publish sourced listings as a convenience and make no claim about their accuracy. If you are the employer named in one and want it corrected or taken down, contact us.

Employers pay per listing or per plan, at the price shown at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by our payment providers.

A listing that we reject in review is refunded in full. A listing that ran is not refundable because you changed your mind, and neither is a plan that has been used.

Eris Pro is an auto-renewable subscription. One term is one month, and on the App Store it costs US$4.99 per month.

On the App Store, payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically for another month unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the new period begins.

You manage an App Store subscription, and cancel it, in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it.

Bought instead with a wallet payment or a voucher code, Eris Pro is one month that does not renew. Nothing is charged again, there is nothing to cancel, and the plan ends on the date the app shows you.

Job post credit and the CV builder are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. You pay for them once, they do not renew, and auto-renew has nothing to do with them.

You keep ownership of what you write and upload. You give us permission to store it and to display it where the service needs to — a vacancy to seekers, a CV to the employer you applied to.

We may suspend or remove an account or a listing that breaks these terms, that harms other users, or that we are legally required to remove. Where it is reasonable to do so, we say why.

The service is provided as it is. We are not liable for a hiring decision, for a job that turned out differently than advertised, for money you paid to somebody you met through a listing, or for loss caused by an employer or a seeker.

We may update these terms. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new version.
