What this covers
This policy explains what Eris Jobs collects, why we collect it, who can see it, and how you get it deleted. It applies to this website and to the Eris Jobs mobile app.
What we store about job seekers
Your phone number. It is how you sign in and it is the only piece of information we insist on, because it is the identity that works in this market. We store it so we can verify you with a one-time code and so employers can reach you after you apply.
Your CV. That means whatever you enter — name, headline, work history, education, skills, languages, links — and any CV file you upload. If you use the AI CV import, the file is read to fill those fields in and the extracted text is stored with your CV.
Your applications. Which vacancies you applied to, when, the note you attached, and the status the employer set.
Optional details you choose to add: an email address, a city, a profile photo, and your saved jobs and job alerts.
Basic technical data: your app or browser language, and server logs that record requests for security and debugging.
Who sees your information
An employer sees your CV and your contact details only for a vacancy you applied to, and only after you apply. Browsing a listing shows nothing to anybody.
Our staff can see accounts and applications in order to run the platform, handle support and prevent abuse. Access is limited to the people who need it.
We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to advertisers.
We use service providers for hosting, SMS delivery, push notifications and, where you use an AI feature, the AI model that reads your text. They process data on our instructions only.
Listings sourced from public channels
Some vacancies on Eris Jobs were not posted by an employer with an account here. They were collected from publicly posted job announcements — Telegram channels and similar public sources — so that the board is useful from the day it opens.
Every one of those listings is labelled as sourced, is grouped under a clearly named system company, and carries the contact details published in the original announcement. You cannot apply to them through Eris Jobs; you contact the employer yourself.
We do not create an account for those employers, and we never send them a message on your behalf.
If you are an employer and you want a sourced listing corrected or removed, contact us and we will act on it.
What we store about employers
The account holder's name and phone number, the company profile you fill in, your vacancies, and the payment records for listings you buy. Card details are handled by the payment provider and never reach our servers.
How long we keep it
Your account and CV stay until you delete them. Applications stay for as long as the account exists, because both you and the employer need the history. Payment records are kept for as long as accounting rules require, even after an account is deleted.
Deleting your account
In the app, open Profile, then Settings, then Delete account, and confirm. This removes your profile, your CVs and uploaded CV files, your applications, your saved jobs and your alerts.
If you cannot reach the app, email us from the address on your account or message the support number below with the phone number you registered with, and ask for deletion. We verify that the request is really yours before acting, and we complete it within thirty days.
Deletion is permanent. An employer who already downloaded your CV before you deleted your account holds a copy we cannot reach; ask them directly to remove it.
Your choices
You can edit or delete any CV, turn off push notifications and email alerts, delete a job alert, and withdraw an application at any time from the app.
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you.
Children
Eris Jobs is for people of legal working age. We do not knowingly create accounts for children, and we delete any we find.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect.
